Golf V6 4motion
Pekka’s 4motion with a Bora front end.

Another crashed car
The latest find from AVK: a V6 Golf with a knock to a front corner.
The front corner had pushed the A-pillar up a little too, leaving a small dent in the roof.
The airbags were, naturally, no longer usable.
First the front corner was pulled back into place on the jig, straightening the roof dent in the process...
...then the whole front corner was replaced with a sound section.
An observant reader will already notice that the front end is getting a little change.
After paint there were a couple of weeks for assembly. Deadline: Bug Run 2006.
The change mentioned in the previous photo is quite obvious here...
The rear bumper is an R32 replica.
The rear section of the exhaust is partly homemade.
Ready for Bug Run
Yes, something a little different this time. We've already tried the OEM thing :)
Bora headlights and a Zender RaceR front bumper.
This year we got the plates a generous three days before departure.
Note the subtly extended bonnet.
The colour comes from the Golf V R32 range.
The side skirts are Zender too.
The wheels came from a VW Touareg V10 TDI and measure 9x19 inches. With an offset of 60, there is plenty of room for bolt-pattern adapters. The Touareg uses the same 5x130 pattern as Porsche.
A Zender fog light and the engine heater socket.
Finally a Zender rear spoiler was bolted to the tailgate.
Sports seats and the other GTI goodies inside.

Finally, some photos of the finished car.
