Pajalle Oy uses enquiry details to answer questions and arrange vehicle servicing and repairs.

Enquiries and attachments
The form processes your name, email address, optional phone number, vehicle details and optional registration number, message and attachments. Do not send personal identity numbers, health information or other sensitive information unnecessary for your enquiry. Technical metadata is removed from images during processing.
Quote requests and work enquiries are processed to take steps before entering into a contract. Other questions are handled under Pajalle Oy’s legitimate interest in managing business correspondence. Your details are not used for direct marketing or automated decision-making.
Messages and attachments are delivered to Pajalle Oy’s email. Attachments are not published or stored in publicly accessible website folders. Access is limited to people who need the information for their work and the technical website and email providers.
Website and email hosting is provided by Shellit.org / Multim Oy. According to the provider’s technical information, its own servers are in Ulvila, Finland. Shellit states that web-hosting backups are retained for one month.
Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to customer work are deleted within six months of the last correspondence. Information relating to customer work is retained as needed to perform the work, address warranty and liability matters and meet legal obligations. Deletion also covers attachments delivered by email.
Form protection and server logs
To prevent spam and abuse, the form processes submission times, a session identifier and a keyed hash of the IP address. Rate-limit records expire after 24 hours and are deleted on the next request. They are not used for visitor tracking. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the service available and secure.
The form uses an essential session cookie that expires when the browser session ends. The hosting provider may also keep technical logs, including IP addresses, requested URLs and request times.
YouTube videos
The YouTube player only loads after you choose “Accept and load video”. Acceptance applies only to that video on the current page and is not saved for later visits. You can remove the player using “Close video”. Closing it does not delete data already transmitted to Google.
Once the video loads, Google receives information such as your IP address and browser details. The service may use cookies and process information outside the EU/EEA under Google’s policies. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed mode. You may also open the video directly on YouTube. See Google’s privacy policy.
The website does not use advertising tracking or visitor analytics cookies.
Project stories
Project stories include names and photographs of people involved in the builds. The purpose is to document the projects and credit contributors. Processing is based on the legitimate interest in publishing the company’s and car hobby’s history. Material is kept in the project archive while its publication remains justified. Please contact us to request correction or removal of information about you. Public pages can also be accessed outside the EU/EEA.
Your rights
You may request access to your information, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where applicable, portability rights cover data processed automatically on the basis of consent or a contract. Legal retention requirements may prevent deletion of some information.
